Deadline for 2012 Grant Applications: Oct. 15th

Applications for 2012 CCNB grants are due, postmarked by, October 15th, 2011.

There will be two grant writing workshops that are open to the public held on Wednesday, September 28th, from 6-7:30 pm, at the Williamstown Public Library, and on Thursday, October 6th, from 6-7:30 pm, at the North Adams Public Library.

The public is welcome to attend either of these, where CCNB members will answer any questions regarding applying for grant monies and project evaluations.

This Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire serves 11 municipalities in northern Berkshire county and gives PRIORITY to artists and projects originating in these towns and cities including: Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg, Florida, Hancock, Lanesboro, Monroe, New Ashford, North Adams, Savoy, and Williamstown.

Individuals, community groups, and cultural organizations are all eligible to apply for a project grant that benefits our communities.

If you’re with a school, contact your principal about applying for a grant. Only one grant per school is accepted and all requests must be submitted on one application. Every school is eligible to receive funds so don’t miss out on this opportunity! Please review the school guidelines before submitting an application.

This is our fourth year of awarding a grant to an individual artist of up to $1,000. These are unrestricted funds that support ongoing work.
